On Saturday April 18th at the church we will begin the process of piecing. Come for the destash sale - stay for some sewing. We will run from 9 - the end of the sale.

Roles

• a couple people with sewing machines

• a couple people to help with pressing

• a couple people to help with making sure we keep up our momentum :)

On Saturday May 2nd - The next sewing opportunity will be at the Lenexa library in their large meeting room on May 2nd from 9am until 4pm

• a couple people to start joining blocks

• a couple people to help with pressing

Things to look to the future

Finishing/future jobs

• finish joining all the blocks

• add any sashing/borders if needed

• create the binding

• add the binding

• potentially piece the backing

• someone to quilt the final product

• someone to make and attach the label

• someone to make and attach the hanging sleeve
